Description

The Cambridge Latin Course is set firmly in the cultural context of the Roman world toward the end of the first century AD. Book IV focuses on imperial Rome, looking at key features of the city itself and various aspects of Roman life including social structure, architecture, religious beliefs and entertainment. All textbooks in the Course are full colour and offer a wealth of linguistic and cultural material.

Book IV is divided into 6 Stages (Stages 29 to 34). Attainment tests are provided in the Teacher's Guide for the end of Stages 31 and 34. At this level, student assessment is usually via public examination.
