With a 50 year history of development and revision, the Cambridge Latin Course (CLC) has established itself as the leading beginner's course for Latin. In addition, both Eduqas and OCR examination boards endorse the Cambridge Latin Course for GCSE teaching. The new UK/International 5th edition is currently underway, with Books I and II being published in 2022. We know many of our community will continue to use the 4th edition, so we will continue to distribute and host materials for both editions for the foreseeable future.
The support materials available to purchase in this area of the websitefor are for the 4th edition of the course. To view them please use the menu on the left of this page. Some resources, such as Audio CD sets, are available for all Books in the Course, whilst others, for example the E-Learning Resource DVDs, might be available for only certain books.
Over time we will be developing extra resources for the 5th edition, such as video and audio materials, supplementary stories and exercises, assessments and more customisable learning tools and environments. These will be available via subscription in due course but not immediately, as we are prioritising the free materials to make sure that everyone using the CLC has a good foundation on which to build. We hope you will continue to support us as we work to create a library of resources and options for your classrooms.
